Cortney, tell us a bit about yourself!
I graduated from the College of Charleston in 2011 with a BA in English, and moved to Indianapolis from Charleston, SC in December of 2016. In the 9 years before moving, I worked as the office administrator for another court reporting company, A. William Roberts Jr. & Associates.
What are your job responsibilites?
I am Stewart Richardson’s “Client Care Manager” which entails maintaining current customer satisfaction, organizing events, building relationships with local attorneys and paralegals, and keeping an eye out for sponsorship opportunities in the community.
What did you discover about your position during your first few weeks here?
In reaching out to our current clients, I found that many attorneys and paralegals really enjoy working with Stewart Richardson. It’s not uncommon to hear our clients say they have several favorite reporters, or that we “saved the day” in helping them meet a deadline or schedule a last-minute deposition.
Why did you decide to come work for Stewart Richardson?
I knew when I moved to Indy that I wanted to work for another reporting company, but after interviewing with Tom for the position I just felt like this was the place for me. The staff works so well together as a team because they’re more like family than coworkers, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

I am looking forward to working for Stewart Richardson because everyone working here cares about the clients- so many times coworkers will come in early or stay late to make sure our clients have what they need, when they need it.
What are your favorite hobbies/activities?
I enjoy reading, gardening, and spending time out in the sunshine.
What is one interesting fact about yourself?
I am slightly obsessed with Stephen King books.
What do you like about working in Indianapolis?
The city is truly beautiful, and so much larger than Charleston, SC! I love that there is always something fun going on, and I have enjoyed getting to know the area over the past few months.
When asked to pick three words to describe you, Rose from our Indy Stewart Richardson office chose knowledgeable, conscientious, and thoughtful. What three words would you use to describe Stewart Richardson & Associates?
Committed, Reliable, Friendly
Tell us a bit about your family!
I grew up in Charleston, SC and am the oldest of three siblings. My youngest brother Zachary still lives in Charleston with my father, while my other brother Joshua is currently relocating with his wife and their son to the FE Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming. I live in the Broad Ripple area with my boyfriend Kyle, and our three guinea pigs.
What is your favorite place to visit?
Before moving to Indy, I greatly enjoyed taking a book to the beach and enjoying the sun and surf. Now, I spend most weekends visiting one of the many parks in Indy, or checking out popular restaurants in the area. I’m looking forward to seeing more of what Indy has to offer as the weather continues to warm!
