About The Firm
In the mid 1970s, Jim Stewart envisioned a court reporting agency that met the rapidly changing needs of law firms – one which emphasized unmatched customer service, top-notch court reporters, and state-of-the-art technologies. He handpicked a team of individuals who shared his common values and passion to excel and, in 1974, turned his dreams into a reality when he opened Stewart Reporting, Inc. Tom Richardson and computer-assisted transcription joined the team in 1979 resulting in Stewart Reporting rising to the top in court reporting excellence.
Preparing for retirement in 1995, Mr. Stewart selected Tom Richardson to assume the role of president and owner of the firm. Holding true to the spirit of Jim’s vision to excel and lead, Stewart Richardson Deposition Services remains committed to providing the very best court reporting services, ones that exceed our clients’ expectations in every way, and providing value to our customers through state-of-the-art technologies. Stewart Richardson Deposition Services has a staff of over 25 reporters throughout the state, with two new offices in Evansville and Fort Wayne. Our Coast-2-Coast deposition scheduling provides coverage for our clients across the country and beyond.
